What we do.
Go and Make is a non-profit organization that runs alongside the local church to push out of the four walls to share the gospel. We bring the love of Jesus to people by hosting events that are infused with joy. We go to seek and save the lost in Jesus name and then point them back to the local church. Local missions for the local church.
We are actionable. We are the few. We are collecting the harvest.
Initiatives
Bring Jesus: event + discipleship + local church
Build bridges: partner + unity + share the harvest
Birth passions: bold + evangelize + go and make
We want to bring Jesus to the outskirts of the city, build bridges between local churches, and help the people of God use their passions and gifts to share the gospel. We want to see families who feel left behind and stuck set free. We want kids of all ages to know they are deeply loved and there is a plan and purpose for their lives.
Jesus came to bring us life and we want to carry that life to people who don't know they belong. We want to be creative and strategic when it comes to sharing the gospel. This is not a time for handing out literature and promotional items. It's a time to move in power and boldly share the gospel.
We want to build bridges between the local churches. Something special happens when we don't operate under our own church brand, but come together as the bride of Christ. If we want to see a move of God in our city it's going to take multiple churches working together to share the load of the harvest.
Everyone has gifts from the Lord. We can use those gifts to build up the body of believers and we can use our passions to go and make disciples. Sometimes we can get stuck in the routine of Sunday. We want people to experience what it looks like to move outside of the four walls of the church and share Jesus. Something happens when we see the gospel come to life in the lives of others. We hope that when you serve outside the norm, in an environment that is dry and thirsty that it will birth a passion to share the gospel and give you fresh vision how to do that.
Our outreach includes intentionally sharing the gospel through Kid Week, Gospel pop-up parties, and monthly church gatherings in unconventional places.
Outreach
Kid Week - think VBS, but not inside the church. We bring it to kids that are temporarily unhoused. We re-create the space and bring summer fun with the gospel. Over the last two years we have watched over 100 kids and adults say yes to Jesus and be baptized. We are just getting started.
Gospel pop-up parties - from parking lots to parks the opportunities are endless. We can host a pop-up party in whatever corner of the city you are in... you can do a lot with a tent and a table.
Adopt a family - saying yes to Jesus is just the beginning. We want to stay and tend to these families and make sure they get connected to a local church. We provide tools to help you disciple a family.
Different kind of church - not the one that meets on a Sunday in a specific building, but one that meets in a shelter or a home that reaches out to neighbors and residents to bring the message of Jesus.
